JR Accountant

Job Description

In this role, you will provide accounting support for the Timmins operations. The position is responsible for the month end accruals, journal entries, cost reports, cost analyses, account reconciliations and reviewing AP batches.  You will assist in the preparation of annual budgets and interim forecasts and assisting with other tasks as required.

Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Description

In this role, you will ensure that all invoices and payment requests from LSG are received, validated and vouchered in a timely manner for Timmins and Toronto office operations based on the predetermine Accounts Payable procedures to Tahoe Canada.  You will communicate directly with employees and suppliers to either supply or retrieve required information and provide un-posted invoices for month end accruals as set out in procedures.

Procurement Director

Job Description

In this role, you will manage the provision of materials, supplies and equipment to Canadian operations.  The role entails purchasing, supply chain management, contract negotiations, warehouse management and all related logistics.  The PD manages all staff engaged in the processes at all operations and maintains close liaison with management in order to ensure the service, materials and equipment needs of the operations are adequately delivered.  The role includes the design and development of all systems and procedures for procurement at the operations as well as the creation of short and long term solutions to overcome challenges or difficulties experienced in any part of the supply chain, within the area of responsibility.  The PD contributes to the success of mining operations by ensuring continuity of supply of needed materials and equipment in the right quantities and at the right time.  Implicit in the management role are the promotion of health, safety and environmental management within the department.
