Mr. McArthur is the founder of Tahoe Resources as well as Executive Chair. He is an experienced mining executive with more than 30 years in the industry in operational and senior management roles. Prior to forming Tahoe, Mr. McArthur was President and CEO of Goldcorp Inc. until his retirement at the end of 2008. This followed his 18 years at Glamis Gold Ltd., where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer from 1998 until its acquisition by Goldcorp in November, 2006. Under his direction, Glamis grew from a junior company producing 100K oz./yr. to a +400k oz./yr. intermediate producer with 15m oz. of gold reserves. Prior to working with Glamis, Mr. McArthur held various operating and engineering positions with BP Minerals and Homestake Mining Company. He holds a B.S. in Mining Engineering from the University of Nevada and is currently a director with Royal Gold Inc.
Mr. Clayton is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of mine operating experience primarily in underground metal mines. Prior to joining Tahoe, Mr. Clayton was Senior Vice President, Operations, and the General Manager of several underground mines for Hecla Mining Company. He was also Vice President, Operations with Stillwater Mining Company. In addition, Mr. Clayton has held a number of engineering and operations management positions with the Climax Molybdenum Company and Homestake Mining Company. Mr. Clayton earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
Mr. Sadler has over 20 years of experience in the mining industry having worked for Glencore Ltd. and Rio Tinto/Kennecott from 1990 to 2012 where he held various financial and commercial roles including General Manager Base Metal Concentrate Sales (Rio Tinto Copper), Director of Finance & Marketing / CFO (Kennecott Minerals Company) and Director of Raw Materials and Precious Metal Sales (Kennecott Utah Copper). Mr. Sadler began his career in 1985 at Grant Thornton LLP. He holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Utah, an MBA from Westminster College and is a member of the Utah Association and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Brodsky is an economic geologist with more than 30 years of precious metals exploration experience. He worked from 2003 to 2010 for Goldcorp Inc. and its predecessor, Glamis Gold, as Exploration Manager, overseeing regional studies and detailed property assessments throughout Guatemala. His team was instrumental in the exploration and development of the Marlin and Cerro Blanco gold-silver deposits, as well as the grass-roots discovery and definition of the Escobal deposit. Prior to joining Glamis/Goldcorp, Mr. Brodsky explored for gold-silver, base metals and uranium deposits in various geologic environments for Rio Algom Ltd., Cordex and Cruson and Pansze. He holds a B.S. in Geology from the University of Nevada.
Mr. Fudge leads the Company’s operations and business team in Guatemala. He previously held the role of General Manager of the Escobal Mine. He has over 35 years’ professional mining experience primarily in precious metals. Before joining Tahoe, he held various key roles including Vice President Business Development for Alexco Resource Corp., Vice President Operations for Hecla Mining Company and President of Hecla Minera Venezolana. Mr. Fudge holds a B.S. degree in Mining Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
Mr. Gostin oversees the Company’s investor relations and corporate communications. He worked previously as a consultant specializing in strategic development and advised public companies regarding communications and annual reports. He was also an adjunct professor of journalism at the Reynolds School of Journalism, University of Nevada, Reno, and previously was a Pulitzer Prize-nominated photojournalist with the Associated Press. Mr. Gostin holds a B.S. degree from California State University, Long Beach, and an MBA with an emphasis in marketing from the University of Phoenix.
Ms. Hofmeister oversees the Company’s legal, administration and corporate social responsibility departments and serves as the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. She previously served as Corporate Counsel and General Counsel to a $2 billion bankruptcy trust from 2004 to 2006 in Reno, Nevada. From 1994 to 2001 she worked as an attorney at Brobeck, Phleger and Harrison, LLP, where she acted as senior litigation counsel to Exxon/Mobil, Shell and Imperial Oil Canada in complex environmental coverage cases. Ms. Hofmeister has worked since 2007 with indigenous groups in developing nations to promote reforestation and sustainable community life. She holds a B.A. from University California Los Angeles, an M.A. in international studies from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
Ms. McGregor is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and serves as Tahoe’s VP Treasurer. She directs financial planning, corporate liquidity, financial reporting and risk management. Prior to joining Tahoe, she worked at Goldcorp Inc. where she held various financial roles including Director of Project Finance and Cost Control; Administration Manager at the Penasquito mine; and Director of Risk. Ms. McGregor began her career at KPMG as Audit Manager. She holds a B.A. (Hons) from Queen’s University at Kingston.
Mr. Muerhoff is a professional geologist with over 24 years in the mining industry with significant experience in mine development and operations, project management and exploration. He was involved in the development of several mines and advanced exploration projects during his tenure at Hecla Mining Company at various locales throughout the western U.S. Mr. Muerhoff also previously worked as the Senior Geologist at Mine Development Associates. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri – Rolla with a degree in Geology and Geophysics, and is a Licensed Geologist, Registered Member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration and member of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum. Mr. Muerhoff is a Qualified Person per Canadian National Instrument 43-101.
Mr. Williams serves as Tahoe’s VP Operations, continuing his role from Rio Alto Mining Limited. He has over 22 years’ international experience in the mining industry. He was formerly employed by GyM – Stracon JV and served as Operations Manager for various joint mining contracts. Prior to that, he served as Geotechnical Superintendent of AngloGold Ashanti Limited’s Geita Gold Mine, Senior Geomechanics Engineer of Western Mining Corporation’s Leinster Nickel Operation and Senior Consultant of Australian Mining Consultants Pty Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mineral Exploration and Mining Geology, a Master of Engineering Science in Mining Geomechanics and a Graduate Diploma in Mining from the Western Australian School of Mines. Mr. Williams is also a Fellow of the AusIMM.
